Tibi Spring/Summer 2011

Tibi’s 2011 Spring collection reflected the laid back ease that often follows the shift in seasons. Bright happy colors and airy fabrics dominated the runway scene. The silhouettes were decidedly less fussy than autumn and created to provide comfort as well as style.  Tibi’s spring forecast is dominated by mod dresses and playful rompers.  The color palate whilst mostly neutrals was accented by bright tangerine orange and an occasional lilac or blue toned piece.  We loved the bright yellow of this spaghetti strapped jumpsuit.  The cut of the pant and ease of the bust are flattering and chic. Designer Amy Smilovic captured a Flirtatious “Alice from Wonderland” entity, with her Tibi 2010 Spring collection. As the models began walking the runway, there was a child –like nostalgia that filled the tent. The ribbon in hair, beautiful yet playful dash of watercolors, floral references, and feminine silhouettes brought this collection to a place of innocent elegance.
