In 1998, I had just moved to the DC area and naturally I jumped right into the concert scene. The first show I ever saw in DC was a free concert by Les Nubians. I had fallen in love with the French/English singing sister duo. Their songs Makeda and Tabou were on regular rotation on 96.3 WHUR.
