The stars took over New York City’s prestigious Zigfield Theater last night for the world premiere of Just Wright, starring Queen Latifah and Common, and our photographer Christian Fernandez was there to capture all of the action. In Fox Searchlight Pictures’ Just Wright movie, Queen Latifah plays as Leslie Wright, a straight-shooting physical therapist who gets the dream job of working with NBA All-Star Scott McKnight (Rapper/Actor Common). All is going well until Leslie finds herself falling for Scott, forcing her to choose between the gig of a lifetime and the tug-of-war inside her heart. Oblivious to her romantic overtures, McKnight is instead drawn to the affections of Leslie’s gorgeous childhood friend Morgan (Paula Patton), who has her sights set on being an NBA trophy wife. Set against the exciting world of championship basketball, the game of love takes on the battle of the sexes in the romantic sports comedy Just Wright, starring three of Hollywood’s most charismatic personalities as they navigate the full-court-press of love. About Multiple Sarcasms

Gabriel (Timothy Hutton) is a man who on the surface has it all-successful professional life as an architect, a beautiful wife, Annie (Dana Delany), and a devoted young daughter, Elizabeth (India Ennenga). But slowly it dawns on him that he is not really happy. Gabriel decides that he wants to write a play about the sorry state of his life. He quits his job, gets a pushy literary agent friend to represent him and starts writing. Although his marriage ends in a divorce, the play is success and although his life is different than it was, he is happier. Multiple Sarcasms features an all-star cast; Timothy Hutton, Mira Sorvino, Dana Delany, Mario Van Peebles, India Ennenga, Laila Robins, and Stockard Channing. In select theaters May 7th.

Last night was the star studded premiere for Tyler Perry‘s new film Why Did I Get Married Too? Held at the School of Visual Arts in NYC.
