Last week, Stella Artois hosted a stellar bash in celebration of their official sponsorship of the 65th Cannes Film Festival. Stella Artois transformed the Tribeca Cinemas into a booming casino nightclub, amply titled ‘Cannes Cinema Club’ where guests experienced an evening of stylish reverie.

The evening featured a classic “Ocean’s Eleven” theme, which included a live showing of the original film, live music, a wrap party and some familiar faces…

The Cannes Cinema Club interactive experience included:

· RFID Bracelet: This bracelet connected us to social media networks to share experiences with our friends and to win special prizes;

· Photo Experience: We don 1960s attire and pose for a professional Cannes Cinema Club headshot which we uploaded to Facebook using out RFID bracelet; and

· Safe Rides Home: Uber, an on-demand car service, provided each guests the experience of a private driver to ensure all attendees arrive home safely.

Victoria’s Secret Angels Doutzen Kroes, Erin Heatherton, and Lindsay Ellingson were poolside to discuss the 2012 What Is Sexy? List and shared their tricks and picks for a sexy summer. As the authority on all things sexy, Victoria’s Secret knows what’s hot for summer.

The Supermodels discussed the celebrity winners that have been named to this year’s What Is Sexy? List. Past What Is Sexy? List winners have included Sofia Vergara, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Scarlett Johansson, Cameron Diaz and more. The List names these hot stars to categories such as Sexiest Smile, Sexiest Legs, Sexiest Beach Body, Sexiest Mom and Sexiest TV Cast.

Adding even more heat to the summer temperatures, Victoria’s Secret launched the VS Knockout bra and the Victoria’s Secret Bombshell, The Summer Edition fragrance. VS Knockout is this newest push-up without wires. The bra includes cushioned support, a sexy balconet shape and wild colors guaranteed to turn up the temperature. Giving a real punch to the Knockout summer look, the new scent is luscious, tropical, and bright with drops of Jasmine Dew, a spark of White Amber and a kiss of Starfruit.

This week, top industry VIPs joined Bacardi as they unveiled their latest addition to the brand – a new ultra premium Cognac brand called D’USSE [dew-say], a bold new expression of Cognac that will debut this summer. Famed mixologist Justin Noel created opulent signature cocktails providing guests the opportunity to preview the luxury French spirit before it hit the market. We thoroughly enjoyed the specialty cocktails while enjoying music by Roc Nation DJ Jus Ske.

Yves Klein was an artist in the truest sense. He took risks and broke rules for the sake of his personal expression. Fifty years after his death Klein is poised to shock the world once more and garner an estimated $30 Million for the sale of his masterpiece “‘Fire-Color 1’ (FC 1)”. The original work is to be sold as one of the highlights of Christie’s Post War & Contemporary Evening Sale on May 8th. In honor of this momentous occasion, Christie’s teamed up with La Mer and sponsored a screening of a short film about his life called La Revolution Bleu. The film is shot by and follows the artists from the start of his career to his untimely  death in 1962. It features authentic footage from the 60′s including a glimpse into Klein’s creative process.

The screening was held at NYC’s Paris theater and hosted by the beautiful January Jones. The actress who is best known for her role in Mad Men is also an avid art enthusiast and supporter of Oceana. Ms. Jones arrived to the event in a cloud of flashing bulbs as photographers tried desperately to  capture an image of her in her beautiful  Mary Katrantzou evening dress.  She accessorized the lovely peplum frock with Sergio Rossi heels and a Chanel clutch.

Guests of the Paris Theatre enjoyed gourmet popcorn and other movie going snacks during the screening and were treated to a fab after party courtesy of La Mer. The After Party was held at Casa Lever and featured the sounds of DJ Luca Tacon.  The soiree was the perfect excuse to mingle with the Rockefellers and January and learn more about this worthy cause. Jones’ participation in the event is part of her duties as ambassador to Oceana, a charitable cause whose mission is protect and preserve the world’s water ways. The non-profit depends on donations in order to continue their efforts. Klein’s estate is set to donate the proceeds from the sale of his original works via Christies Evening Sale to Oceana. When considering Eco-friendly product one may logically picture reusable shopping bags and low voltage light bulbs. Environmentally sound products have come a very long way and now include items such as audio equipment, furniture and sneakers. We adored these sneakers by New Balance, which are made of recycled materials.

The biggest product innovation of the evening was Ford’s 2013 Fusion.  This sleek powerful vehicle is powered by electricity as well as gas. The interior for the Fusion is also eco smart as it is made up of recycled plastics, carpeting and renewable resources such as soy bean and wheat straw.

Along with the  documentary and lesson in sustainable products guests were treated to a performance by the Honey Brothers. The bluesy rock quintet was created by lifelong friends in an effort to get more “joy” out of life. The music created by the simple declaration is an honest and sincere sound borne of creativity and not the quest for monetary gain. The band’s lineup includes Grenier, who is not the lead singer but the drummer, a surprising twist to say the least but one which embodies the band’s signature style of laughing in the face of convention. The group provided a boost of rock fueled energy to revelers, capping off an exciting evening of shared knowledge and the art of sustainability.

Last evening celebrities, media, and chic New York shoppers gathered at the H&M Flagship store on 5^th Avenue to celebrate the success of NBC’s newest primetime show, “Fashion Star”. The show’s mentors, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos hosted the event, while DJ Mia Moretti kept the energy high, spinning all night long.
