Earlier this week we attended an exclusive invite-only celebration for Carolee 40th Anniversary. The company celebrated this wonderful milestone at New York’s newest luxury hotel destination, The Setai.
There, Carolee unveiled a 40th Anniversary Legacy Collection and a collection of Limited Edition Charm Bracelets. Five dollars from each Legacy piece and Limited Edition Charm Bracelet will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Read more
Bar III Spring/Summer 2012 Collection
The Chelsea Art Museum set the back drop for Bar III’s Spring/Summer presentation. Well dressed models milled about the event posing for the cameras, showing off the latest in offering by the contemporary brand. The look was decidedly muted as maxi dresses and preppy suiting dominated the collection. Most of the collection was a study in soft neutrals, with brief appearances of bright colors aqua and orange. With only a year under its belt, Macy’s private label has provided young adults with options that reach far beyond the usual jeans and sneakers.

Bar III is Macy’s latest private label. The line carries both men’s and women’s ready to wear. The look is sophisticated and chic with a touch of cool, think Williamsburg meets upper east side. The fledgling brand held a winter 2011 preview at the lovely Glass Houses. Read more
Miriam Salat Store Opening Celebration and Collection Preview

Jewelry designer Miriam Salat opened her first luxury boutique in The Shops at Columbus Circle. The new concept store which is housed in a luxury merchandising boutique on the ground floor, radiates an eclectic vibe to make guests feel like they are shopping in a one-of-a kind, exclusive marketplace on a Mediterranean island. The shop is home to over one hundred different styles of Miriam Salat jewelry, the largest selection of any retail location. Complimenting the gypsy-feel of her accessories, two champagne colored capiz shell chandeliers hang from the ceiling and mismatched gold frames house beautiful imagery of icons adorning the jewelry such as Eva Longoria, Sandra Bullock, Elizabeth Moss, Oprah Winfrey, Chelsea Kane, Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez.
