For Spring Summer 2012 we will see a modern mix of relaxed tailoring and a sportswear look, in shades of blue and white. One of the key garments of this season is a cropped navy double breasted jacket. This exclusive trend analysis is made by Dan Rookwood, Men’s health, and Ann-Sofie Johansson, Head of Design.

H&M will debut a 30-second ad during the Super Bowl to launch the new DAVID BECKHAM Bodywear collection. The stimulating spot marks both H&M and David Beckham’s inauguration into the Super Bowl advertising line-up. H&M recently announced a long-term alliance with David Beckham, which kicks-off with the introduction of the nine-piece Bodywear collection on February 2, 2012 in 1,800 H&M stores worldwide.

H&M’s advertisements are all produced in-house at the H&M headquarters in Sweden in cooperation with independent creative professionals. The David Beckham Bodywear commercial will have a prime position in the 2nd quarter of the game.

H&M has created this brand new international design award with the ambition of supporting talented designers after their graduation. The H&M Design Award aims to push fashion students in the right direction, so that they can continue to grow and develop in their work as fashion designers. The contestants come from fourteen of the most prestigious design schools in Sweden, UK, Germany, Belgium, Holland and Denmark. On February 1st, the winner of the H&M Design Award 2012 is presented on Stockholm Fashion Week, followed by a fashion show with the winner’s graduate collection.
