Review: Contorno’s Restaurant Opens in NYC

Contorno’s Restaurant has finally arrived in New York City and a few days ago we attended the grand opening at their new space, located at 30 West 31st Street inside the new boutique Holiday Inn Express. With the lights turned down low and the music playing, invited guests enjoyed wine tastings as well as a selection of small plate passed hors d’oeuvres from the menu developed by executive chef David Buico. Best Dish: You can never go wrong with Paella, rich and flavorful this dish really sticks to your ribs.  If seafood isn’t your thing have the hearty beef stew, trust us you won’t regret it.

Overall: Casual elegance at affordable prices, you can’t go wrong here.  The food and drinks are great and the atmosphere perfect for a date night or dinner with friends.  This place also has a great happy hour, for us 9 to fivers. Read more
