Flipping through the CMJ guide, it’s often hard to decide who to see perform. OpenSky Presents Perez Hilton’s “One Night in NYC”
As bloggers go Perez Hilton is one of the most notorious. Often recognized for his sharp tongue and take no prisoners approached to gossip he is more often seen as a social pariah than a patron saint. Though many may not know of his softer side thousands witnessed first hand the extent of his reach, as he pulled together an amazing charity event in NYC’s Hammerstein ballroom. The evening aptly titled “One Night in NYC” is a partnership with Hilton and the GLSEN to raise awareness and raise funds to help prevent bullying in schools.
