Review: Mark DeMaio’s POP GOES THE BIBLE!

Mr. DeMaio is currently showing an exciting, eye-catching collection that combines recognizably famous cartoon characters with religious iconography to deliver a pop art tableau that will shock and amaze the viewer. The images mix childhood memories with the Biblical stories, the iconic Nativity Scene is re-cast with Olive Oyl as the Virgin Mary is a particularly affecting tableau.
