<p>Under the creative direction of Bernardo Rojo, the Joseph Abboud brand is pleased to announce their spring/summer 2012 Made in The New America ad campaign. Featuring real-life people, these ads embody an era of artful masculinity and timeless authenticity characterized by pioneers fervently pursuing their passions.  <span id="more-28809"></span>Whether it’s the creative rogue Andrew who left his job to launch a line, the artisian Shawn who taught himself how to customize jeans by hand or the storyteller R.J. who always finds a way to make the best of things, these driven men trek through all types of obstacles to do what they love. No matter how difficult or winding the path may be, the Joseph Abboud man learns from his experiences and defines what it means to be Made in the New America.</p>

<p>“Bear Grylls is a real-life hero, the perfect embodiment of our Wear the Pants campaign,&#8221; offered Jen Sey, senior vice president of global marketing for the Dockers brand, on the selection of Bear as the face of the 2012 campaign. &#8220;We’re thrilled to be teaming with him, a TRUE man of action and ingenuity, out braving and conquering the world, doing what he loves. His passion and drive as well as his commitment to his family resonate with the spirit of the Dockers brand and the Wear the Pants campaign.” “It was a lot of fun to be part of the Wear The Pants 2012 campaign. I’m always looking for rugged, durable clothing from brands like Dockers that are approachable and accessible,” said Bear Grylls.</p>
<p>The campaign was photographed in Manhattan’s Central Park by lens-man, Koto Bolofo In one, Bear wears the <strong>Alpha Khaki</strong>, one of our slimmest styles that was first introduced last year for the Fall 2011 season. The other shot features Bear in the beloved <strong>Signature Khaki</strong>.</p>
<p>The Dockers brand’s tongue-in-cheek Wear The Pants campaign, launched in late 2009, continues to celebrate the re-emergence of khakis as the go-to everyday pant for men around the world, but now the platform also celebrates passion, purpose and empathy. The Wear The Pants campaign continues to spark conversation about what it means to be a man today.</p>

<p>To officially introduce the pants, Dockers made the Alpha the star of our Fall  2011 campaign, which features the founders and staff of the East Village’s <strong><a href="http://www.blindbarber.com/">The Blind Barber</a></strong> modeling the pants. Shot on location at New York City’s first barber shop/cocktail parlor, the campaign was photographed by <strong>Cass Bird</strong>.<span id="more-23897"></span></p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;When Dockers approached us here at the Blind Barber about participating in the new Alpha Pant Campaign, we were stoked,” offers Jeff Laub, co-owner of the Blind Barber. “ In my mind there could not have been a better organic partnership than that between Dockers and Blind Barber.  We are two brands both set on a mission to redefine the classics while staying true to our roots.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>The Alphas are cut from a selection of heavier weight khaki twills that will lend themselves nicely to this softening and aging process. This allows the Alpha to express and capture the wear and personality of the pant’s owner—much the same way jeans do—with much time and wear. In this way, the Alpha is a perfect, fresh option for that denim-head who may be looking for something new, different and with a slightly more dressy feel.</p>
<p>The Alphas are new for the Fall season and will be available in stores ranging from Urban Outfitters to Nordstrom to Bloomingdale’s. The ‘Alpha’ will range in price from $68.00 for timeless colors to $128.00 for more limited-edition, hand-crafted styles.</p>

<p>Earlier this week the <a href="http://www.bensherman.com">Ben Sherman</a> Store in Soho hosted the launch party of the new Fall 2011 Englishman in New York Collection and Ad campaign. The ex-pats featured in the Englishman in New York campaign were on-hand to pose with their respective campaign shots and model the new collection. Ben Sherman tracked down an assortment of young, successful Englishmen who have made New York their home. Selected for their individual style and creative merit, each of these Englishmen were given the freedom to pick from the season’s collection, to be worn in their own way and shot in their own neighborhoods.</p>

<p>The Plectrum Collection, showcases the brands more directional and contemporary lines and targets the sartorially savvy new wave of ‘modernist’ consumer. With premium product utilizing carefully sourced fabrics and materials, the collection will feature the understated Plectrum logo, inspired by the guitar pick and symbolizing originality, creativity, innovation and style. The collection will be sold within the brands own retail stores and selected upper-tier distribution.</p>
<p>The Script Collection offers a mix of classic pieces and fashion staples, providing an easy to wear offering for those who still consider looking good to be of utmost importance. The Script Collection will service commercial accounts, maintaining smart and trend aware silhouettes throughout the range.</p>
<p>The Heritage Collection, replacing the brands Signature line, consists of core items such as classic Oxford and gingham shirting, tipped polos, Harrington jackets and clean and considered knitwear.</p>
<p>We are confident this new way of presenting the Ben Sherman offering will satisfy the appetite of the modern market.</p>

It illuminates and radiates warmth and spirit. <a href="http://www.werclassic.com/">Reebok Classics</a> &#8220;Reethym of Lite&#8221; campaign embodies that very spirit as it takes the brand to new heights, by changing the way we see artist brand collaborations. <span id="more-23635"></span> It is one thing to be a familiar face attached to a product but quite another to be a creative director in charge of the global appeal. The new campaign is spearheaded by super producer and artist <a href="http://www.swizzworld.com/"><strong>Swizz Beatz</strong></a>. ”The Reethym of Lite campaign connects people to something they hear on the radio, see on the TV, enjoy at a party – and also see as a commercial during their favorite show,” said Swizz Beatz. “For me, the Reethym of Lite is an “International Party” – it connects the sneakers being light, the rhythm of dance, music, art and style and the rhythm of the people, the fact that everyone should have light in their life. Reebok and Swizz are taking Reebok Lite and the Reethym of Lite global.”</p>
<p>The south bronx native celebrated his role in true rock star fashion with an intimate star studded party. The VIP section was packed with friends and well wishers of the mega star, including <strong>Jay-Z, Beyonce, Sean &#8220;Diddy&#8221; Combs</strong>, <strong>Pharrell Williams</strong>, <strong>Clive Davis</strong>, <strong><a href="http://missinfo.tv/">Miss Info</a></strong>, the lovely <strong>Alicia Keys</strong>, and many more. Guests at the event enjoyed signature cocktails from <a href="http://www.hennessyblack.com/%20">Hennessy Black</a>, as well as a rousing performance from the man of the hour. Swizz reminded the crowd of his career of  hits not only as a performer but as a producer. With a staggering  catalog of over 500 hits he could have performed all night.</p>

<p>The energetic and playful set was followed by the unveiling of the first commercial for the campaign. The high octane 2 minute commercial is filled with color and light. The mini video features music by Swizz with a cameo from the Mrs (Alicia Keys), and classic Reebok sneakers as well as the newer looks from the line. Along with the new footwear Swizz will also be reawakening an old apparel line as part of his creative director role. With a new wife, adorable baby and a slew of successful ventures its a wonder that he gets any sleep. Who needs sleep when you&#8217;re the guardian of the lite?</p>
