Since 2005, the School of Fashion has premiered the collections of recent graduates during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. For the Fall 2012 show, there will be eight women’s wear collections and one men’s wear collection. Two of the women’s wear designers this season, Amy Bond and Farida Khan, received their M.F.A. in Fashion Design through Academy of Art University’s Online Fashion Program. Read more

AAU Presented its graduate presentation to a packed house at Bryant Park’s tent. Reality stars and socialites vied for photographer’s attention as the anxious designers worked on finishing touches and prepared themselves for the night to come. They are graduates of the Academy of Arts fine arts program, the only school to present a collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The collections presented are the end result of several years of training at the California based institute. Six of the top graduates presented a capsule collection representative of their budding style and unique take on fashion. Read more
