One of our favorite stores, jcpenney surprised Manhattan Mall shoppers and commuters with an exhilarating and stylish men’s flash fashion show during rush hour on Thursday, October 27. A team of models – including a military veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan – all wore a fashionable assortment of professional and lifestyle attire from jcpenney, including suits, tailored clothing and casual sportswear. Jayson Atienza provided one of a kind art during the show.
Following the show, the fall fashion trends were also featured at a VIP cocktail reception for local fashion, music (by DJ Vikas), lifestyle, and social influencers at the ACE Hotel. Paul Rieckoff, Executive Director and Founder of IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America) spoke about jcpenney’s “Welcome Heroes” Campaign.
Additionally, Sean Coyle, jcpenney Men’s Senior Design Director, was on-hand to talk about men’s fashion, including the trends seen in the fashion show available at jcpenney. Other VIP guests included Restauranteur Marcus Samuelsson, GQ’s Edwin Bragg, Esquire’s Wendell Brown and Nic Screws, and a host of bloggers and trendsetters.
Here are a few highlights from the evening.
