Rachel Zoe Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

Every year some new celebrity throws their hat into the fashion ring. Relying solely on a sudden popularity or group of talented but faceless individuals to pull off their collections.  Rachel Zoe had no such luck.  The stylist, reality star, entrepreneur and loving wife put in years of hard work and dedication to her celebrity clients before pursuing her own line. After over a decade in fashion as a stylist, Zoe recently shifted gears and added designer to her growing list of talents. We had the pleasure of viewing her first Spring collection just over a week ago during NY fashion week.   A combination of 70′s style and hollywood glam make up what is a chic modern collection of drool inducing pieces.

This beautiful printed maxi is one of several sprinkled throughout the collection.

We adored this tonal red on red look. A cropped pant is a great way to show off a killer pair of hills.  We love the combination of the all business blouse with the playful cropped pant.

This electric blue would be a welcome and cherished addition to  any woman’s Spring wardrobe. The bright color is a great look especially with neutral accessories.

As stated by the woman herself the clothes she presents will never be about trend, instead the line will always be a tribute to lasting style that need only new accessories to remain relevant.  Wise words from a woman who has dressed many of the silver screen’s leading ladies.  In the grand hall of celebrity turned designer no one is more deserving or worthy of fashion adulation as the lovely Ms. Zoe, whose shows will no doubt be added to our lists of seasonal  favorites.
