In 1998, I had just moved to the DC area and naturally I jumped right into the concert scene. The first show I ever saw in DC was a free concert by Les Nubians. I had fallen in love with the French/English singing sister duo. Their songs Makeda and Tabou were on regular rotation on 96.3 WHUR. On September 10th, during Mercedes Benz Fashion week, NAUTICA presented its Spring 2011 Collection at the Donald and Mary Oenslager Gallery, the Library of Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. Thirty models featured the easy-to-wear American classics of NAUTICA.
