Aliomi Launch Party at The Gates

What happens when you get six NYC girlfriends with distinct yet complimentary personalities and a penchant for fashion? On Wednesday, JSD was invited by the ladies of Aliomi to their official site launch held at The Gates. Aliomi, a combination of two of the women’s namesakes, is a pretty unique online fashion boutique concept featuring embellished vintage pieces and a DIY & custom apparel shop. We were shown a few pieces from their online catalog including their popular studded shorts and blazers that were embellished in all the right places.

As guests mingled, they enjoyed Pops Chips and cookies & cream samplers by Tawny Ong and the night’s signature cocktail appropriately named New York Summer.

As we were on our way out, we were treated to customized “gift bags.” We thought the DIY step and repeat was genius, but they really brought it home with the specially designed canvas bags!
