2010 Parsons Fashion Benefit

Parson’s 2010 benefit raised 1.2 million last night to help establish new scholarships for the school’s future students. William Fung, the CEO of Li & Fung limited which is a global manufacturing giant in the fashion industry donated $250,000 to the benefit last night. The evening honored Vera Wang as well as other visionaries who have helped set the platform in the fashion industry. This year’s show captivated the highly coveted designers of the year in Womenswear and Menswear, which went to Parson seniors Niloufar and Dylan Taverner. Other high profile attendees where Jason Wu, Patricia Fields, Chris Benz, Tracy Reese, Anthony Keegan, Julie Gilhart, and Vivienne Tam.
