Lanvin to Design Exclusive Collection for H&M
How exciting is this!!! As speculated, H&M has announced that its next designer collaboration will be with Lanvin, one of the most influential brands of the 21st century. Designed by Lanvin's artistic director Alber Elbaz, and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver, the collection will go on sale on November 23 in around 200 H&M stores worldwide.
The Columbian Luxury Show…A Big Apple Debut!
Mark August 27th 2010 on your calendar as the day Columbia invaded NY. Columbian designers, artists and luxury vendors assaulted the big apple with a barrage of Beauty, Fashion and Luxury vendors as participants in the Columbia Luxury Lifestyle Show. Held at the Altman Building, the event served as a showcase and networking event for the upper crust of Columbian artisans and craftsmen. Attendees were treated to cocktails and free samples of wellness beverages as well as a fashion show featuring 3 great designers/brands:

This season, Ports 1961 designer, Fiona Cibani, draws inspiration from the magic allure of the desert. With delicate mirage abstractions and a landscape in constant evolution as her muse, Fiona crafts a collection within a realm of harmonic contrasts. We are always a fan Cibani's unique designs. Cole Haan and Interview Magazine Celebrate The Launch of Maria Sharapova’s Fall 2010 Collection
The Sky Room at the ever eclectic New Museum was the canvas for Maria Sharapova’s Fall 2010 collection launch for Cole Haan as well as for a silent auction to benefit Common Cents on Thursday. The event was co-hosted by tennis star Maria Sharapova (who will step onto the court on Monday at the 2010 U.S. Open), photographer Todd Selby, and Interview Magazine.

LOFT Introduces The New Petites Collection
Celebrities are buzzing about the LOFT new petites collection. Kristen Bell (pictured above) created her own signature LOFT look from the new Fall collection. The starlet wore LOFT’s multi-tier shell in autumn spots ($49.50) paired with denim legging ($69.50) recently at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

On Wednesday, I confronted a great enemy of mine…jeans at the holy grail of denim aka the Levi’s store in SoHo. Levi’s shut its doors to the public for the private launch of their first Women’s Global launch of Curve ID. The Curve ID seeks to alleviate many of women’s frustrations when it comes to jeans shopping by creating jeans “that focuses on shape rather than size.”
